Responsible for the EVA returns for this $60 million, 250-employee division of Manitowoc Corp., in a turnaround situation. This multi-plant division designs, manufactures and markets proprietary beverage dispensing equipment sold to Coke and Pepsi, as well as the foodservice markets.

Responsible for the sales management and marketing direction for the $50 million U.S. Division of this operating unit of Emerson Electric.
·Increased sales volume 50% in the domestic market.
·Improved profit margins four points though a rigorous re-direction of pricing policy.
·Restructured division’s domestic distribution strategy.
1971 – 1986
ITT CORPORATION, Various locations
Joined ITT World headquarters as part of MBA Executive Development Program. Served in a variety of line and staff assignments in different divisions of ITT Grinnell, a $1 billion manufacturer and distributor of pipe, industrial valves and fittings. Positions included Purchasing Manager, Materials Manager, Product Development Manager, Product Line Manager and General Manager. Involved in strategic planning, acquisitions, design for manufacture cost improvement programs, new product projects and all phases of the marketing function. Experience culminated in a P&L position as VP and General Manager of a $15 million operating division, called Fabri-Valve, a leading manufacturer of fabricated and cast steel knife gate valves sold to the Pulp and Paper, Power and Waste Treatment industries.
Served as a Captain of Marines, including a combat tour as an Infantry Advisor and Artillery Officer.
