SCORE Twin Cities has partnered with the Minnesota Department of Corrections transitional facility in Togo Minnesota to mentor men with small business aspirations as they reenter society. Our mutual goal is to provide these men another opportunity to maximize their success back in their hometowns.
Upon re-entry the men will have housing and will obtain employment. Most of the men hope to launch their business in about a year after their release.
These returning citizens will have gone through an intensive, six month transitional period in Togo. Their curriculum includes career assessment
SCORE Bucks County’s wildly popular Women Building Businesses Conference is making a comeback on June 14 after a three-year hiatus.
The fourth annual event features a keynote address from NBC10 anchor Tracy Davidson, as well as informative sessions from several successful women entrepreneurs, and plenty of networking among attendees and event exhibitors.
Known for her talks on resilience, the Emmy-winning journalist is a good fit for the event, according to SCORE Bucks County Chairwoman Linda Zangrilli.

SCORE Philadelphia Chapter and the Philadelphia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. partner annually to offer business education, resources, and business opportunity grants to emerging minority women entrepreneurs.
The program offers entrepreneurial education and SCORE mentorship, culminating in an opportunity for the women who participate to pitch their business to a panel of three expert judges with the chance for three entrepreneurs to win grants to start and grow their businesses. WASHINGTON, Feb. 23, 2023 – SCORE, mentors to America’s small businesses and a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration, announced today that SCORE Broward (Fla.) is the 2023 national winner of Chapter of the Year (COTY).
SCORE Broward was selected from nearly 230 chapters nationwide for outstanding service to local small businesses, resulting in the creation of 419 new businesses and 1,773 new jobs in one year across Florida’s Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood and Broward County communities.
